Ronya-Lee takes an insistent tone as she states her melodic case. “Runway” sports a percussive and driving arrangement that serves at the base for her vocals that are conversational in one moment and then soar in the next.

Ronya-Lee can accurately be called a renaissance woman, and singing is just one item on her resume. She’s also a dancer, choreographer and performance artist who has works commissioned by Duke University and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, just to name a few. You can go on her webpage, ronyalee.com, and view some of her performance pieces, and you can check out Ronya-Lee & the Light Factory on her new song “Runaway,” here.
