Our friends at EURWeb have reported that Jennifer Holliday will be returning to the role of Effie in the 25th Anniversary production of Dreamgirls to be staged at Atlanta's Theater of the Stars. Holliday, who made that role and became the centerpiece of the show's initial Broadway run, was sadly excluded from any role in the recent movie adaptation of Dreamgirls, but makes a triumphant return to the part that she was born to play.
