Saxman extraordinaire Gary Palmer was born and raised in New York City and began playing the saxophone at the age of 12, and he spent his teen years performing around New York with his talented father and siblings.
As an adult, Gary began bringing his sax sounds to stages around the US, playing with big name acts before moving to the front of the stage as an artist and songwriter. Now, Gary is hitting his stride with a new album that should have both R&B and jazz fans clapping. Love Me Again is a nice combination of funky instrumentals and sweet ballads that we think SoulTrackers will enjoy.
So we’re very glad to be presenting as this month’s Song of the Month Gary’s very nice lead single from the album, the rhythmic gem, “Stay With Me.” This is a fantastic Summer evening song with a cool vibe and great playing.
