So can a song be a Lost Gem when it is only a few years old? We think so. Not many SoulTrackers know about British soul man Daniel Merriweather and perhaps even fewer heard his killer duet with then-up-and-coming singer Adele, “Water and a Flame,” when it came out in 2009. So even though it isn’t very old this great song is a “gem” that, unfortunately, was “lost” to most soul music lovers.
