Nominated for eight 2015 Rhythm Of Gospel Awards, including Best New Artist and CD of the Year, Joe Douglass & Spirit of Praise is an unique 15-voice ensemble whose youthful blend of musical styles has the gospel industry buzzing. The group was formed by 24 year old singer-songwriter Joe Douglass and co-founder David Jackson, music director for Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson.
The group has just released their debut album The Great I Am on JDI Records/Sony Distribution and it is a gem. We’re proud to present it as our new SoulTracks Listening Room. It is a fantastic debut and one of the best Gospel albums of the year.
