(November 21, 2023) In 2022, BET+ had a hit on its hands with Kingdom Business, a musical drama series about the Gospel music business, starring Yolanda Adams and a slew of other talents.
Now the series is back with Kingdom Business 2 and a soundtrack of the new season has hit record stores, with production from the great Kirk Franklin. Franklin’s touch is evident throughout the project and never more than on the uplifting organ-drenched midtempo, “We Family.” Featuring vocals from Adams, Chaundre Broomfield and Kiandra Richardson, “We Family” beautifully bridges between Gospel and classic soul, and Franklin gives the stars the floor to show off their ample voices.
