Sometimes something special is hidden in plain sight, and that’s the story of Bay Area singer and songwriter Tracy Cruz. We’ve been following Tracyfor a decade, and it has been gratifying to see the concomitant growth of both her artistry and her fanbase around the world.
Tracy has issued a series of attractive singles over the past few years, each touching on a different element of her musicianship. And her newest single, “Find A Way” continues that development.
Produced by indie soul whiz Rodney Jones, “Find A Way” is a groove-filled midtempo that tells the story of encouragement amid trying emotional times – appropriately put together by Tracy during the depths of the pandemic.
With the back-and-forth between vocals and horns, the song has a timeless feel that should appeal to both classic soul fans and those fans drawn to the NuSoul movement. And, of course, Tracy Cruz handles the lead beautifully.
