(August 27, 2017) Earlier this year we reviewed Tom Glide’s excellent compilation Divas Got Soul, and it became an international hit, with folks digging its persistent groove and the bevy of fantastic guest vocalists.
One of the songs from that album has recently taken off, and it’s no wonder. Featuring longtime ST fave, Hil St. Soul, “Soul Train” has a steady beat that should get folks dancing, and top notch vocals up front.
It’s been awhile since Hil has graced the pages of SoulTracks, so we’re thankful to Tom Glide for bringing her back and packaging such a great vehicle.
