(March 11, 2022) Terrie Rimson first came to the attention of music fans with her 2018 album Threads of Love. She proved herself to be a singer with a powerful instrument reminiscent of Ann Nesby, and a mission to sing about the many shades of love.
Terrie continues that theme on her newest single, “Give Me Love.” On it, she confesses to her lover that she is torn about their damaged relationship, and that she cherishes the love, but not all the pain that seems to come with it.
The accompanying soundtrack fits the dramatic theme of the song, with elements of edgy hi-hop electronics underlying more traditional soul vocal harmonies, all giving the true sense of intensity of the lyrics.
“Give Me Love” is a nice introduction of Terrie Rimson to SoulTrackers. We think you’re going to want to hear more from her.
