To understand that soul music has become truly international, you need look no further than Croatia’s strong new band, Soul Shadows. With both male and female lead vocalists, backed by piano, guitar, drums and bass, and an occasional rap vocalist and brass section, Soul Shadows has developed a strong European audience – and perhaps soon an audience in the USA.
The band has a new single called “Day by Day,“ and it has a mellow groove that SoulTrackers should enjoy. Lead singer Mirza Tetarić fronts the track, with great backing harmonies and a late night feel.
