Savoy Ellis was exposed to music from the get-go. His father was a singer-turned-music-executive, and music surrounded his childhood. And he developed his love for music over his life, developing into a popular songwriter.
Savoy is now moving up front for his first full solo album and he leads it off with the beat-heavy number, “Everything,” featuring K12. 90’s New Jack fans will find a lot to like in this song; it is tough to not move when you hear it. Savoy tells us, “’Everything’ is a blend of old school and new school sounds. Produced by K12 (who also raps on the song) this song shows a glimpse of my musical influences. Full of soul and feeling, ‘Everything’ is a story we can all relate to: the passion and excitement you feel when you’ve found that special someone.”
