Has is really been nine years since we heard from one of our favorite groups, The Rebirth? The 2005 SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Award winners have been absent from the scene for awhile, and we felt the void.
But the good news is that The Rebirth is back! The band is completing its new album, Being Through the Eyes of a Child, and it promises to be worth the wait. As they put it, “The sound you will hear on this album is quite literally a work of art that’s been developed over time. We have spent the last six years developing and investing our time and energy recording, composing, and crafting the music so it’s exemplary of our work and upholding of our standards.”
The first single from the new disc is coming out later this month, but we have it now! We’re very proud to be presenting the World Premiere First Listen of “This Is Coming To,” a funky, guitar-filled, breezy ride that reminds us why we fell for The Rebirth in the first place.
