(March 11, 2017) Baltimore native and multi-instrumentalist Raymond Barton has worked with a number of stars over the years, including Toni Braxton, Maysa and others, and has released his own music from time to time.
Barton in many ways models his solo work after such production greats as Norman Connors and Quincy Jones. And those influences show on his brand new single, “A Beautiful Forever,” featuring the always terrific Kia Bennett on vocals. The song has a definite adult soul groove that we think SoulTrackers will dig.
Raymond tells us, “’A Beautiful Forever’ celebrates anybody in love. After hearing so many break up and I don’t want you songs, I wondered if anyone is still in love. This song is for people who ACTUALLY love each other. Kia Bennett makes the song her very own. She is SO very good with interpretation.”
