Marshall Knights is a well known music producer, known for leading his band Zzaje’ (pronounced zahjay) as they back many artists all over the world. His music combines elements of soul, funk, jazz, hip-hop, rock and classical genres. The band’s résumé reads like a who’s who of music, including shows with Roy Ayers, Erykah Badu, Brian McKnight, Nancy Wilson, and many more.

Marshall’s debut solo project, The Marshall Knights Experience, is out now. He describes the project as a compilation of life lessons he’s learned, his prayer to God, and a representation of what he hopes to bring to the world.

He leads off the album with “Love Song,” a track bearing a killer bass line and a groove that goes for days. And over the top, Marshall tells the story of his feelings of love for his woman. Marshall tells us about the song, “I wrote ‘Love Song’ as a gift for my wife on her birthday. Sometimes it’s hard to say how you feel so I decided to put my feelings in a song. ‘Love Song’ is an example of how sweet and simple love can be.”

We’re feeling this one, and we think you will too. Check out “Love Song” below and tell us what you think!
