Cleveland native Laurin Talese is one versatile singer. With a noted affinity for jazz, she is adept at many other genres. And that talent has made other artists ranging from Robert Glasper to Vivian Green excited to work with her.
Laurin has recently released a diverse new album called Gorgeous Chaos, working with Glasper, Green and others, and it is a real showcase for her talent. The first single from the album, “Trenchcoat,” finds her in fantastic voice, fronting a tale of seduction that includes beautiful orchestration.
