(January 17, 2020) Kim Cage Riley first came to the attention of soul music fans as a background singer for former The Time member Jesse Johnson; but she moved to the front as was the lead vocalist on his song, “Stronger Than Strong.” She also appeared as an actress in several albums in the 80s and 90s.

Kim is now preparing a solo album, and the first single on it is fire. Teaming with the King of Indie Soul, Eric Roberson, she’s created a sensual ballad about places that lovers can go on an evening of passion. She and Erro sound simply marvelous together, and the song is moving to the top of our playlist.

Check out “Feel A Way” and welcome Kim Cage Riley to SoulTracks!
