First Listen: Jayar Mack and Tom Glide find out Love is “Blind”

(July 12, 2018) We first came about multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, arranger, and producer Jayar Mack when he was a vital part of soulful Latin group Cintron, which we introduced to SoulTrackers over a decade ago. But the Chicago-born musician has stayed busy since then, recording nine albums with the group but also working with a who’s who of soul stars, including a stint as music director for The Ebonys.

Earlier this year, Jayar moved to the front with his debut solo single, “You Make Me Feel So Good,” an excellent cut that SoulTrackers were definitely digging.

Now Jayar is back, and is working the producer and DJ extraordinaire Tom Glide. The result is “Blind Love,” an irresistible upbeat number that is the second release from the upcoming album The Best of Jayar Mack, which chronicles 25 years of his career.

Check out “Blind Love” below, and welcome back Jayar Mack!
