(October 28, 2016) James “Biscuit” Rouse has become a go-to durmmer for some of soul music’s greatest artists, including Nile Rogers and Chic, Ray Chew, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Pharrell Williams, Usher and Lauryn Hill.

James is now working on his newest album with a impressive list of collaborators, and the sounds coming out of the studio are hot.

So we’re extremely proud to be presenting the World Premiere of the first song from the upcoming album, a new take on an old favorite. James remakes the Emotions’ classic “Don’t Ask My Neighbors” with legendary R&B singer Alyson Williams taking the vocal lead. It’s a terrific cut and a nice preview of the album to come.

Check out “Don’t Ask My Neighbors” below, and tell us what you thinki!
