First Listen: Heavy D and the Boys have “Found Love” in remix

(December 30, 2016) Festive, funk-infused and a new spin on an old fave to wrap up 2016: Gamble and Huff’s 1973 mega-hit for The O’Jays, “Now That We’ve Found Love,” was a popular jam long before it was the foundation for a Heavy D & The Boyz song, but there’s no doubt that the 1993 spin remains one of the hip-hop group’s most popular and enduring favorites.

An overseas import from producer Rob Hardt, one half of the popular duo Cool Million, this Unofficial Old Skool Mix is meant to recall good times, great talents and how there can never be too many ways to absorb the unique and unforgettable greatness that was Heavy D.
