(May 19, 2023) We’ve been following singer and songwriter Dessy DiLauro since the early days of SoulTracks, and we’ve enjoyed her eclectic discography of solo material and her work as part of the creative duo Parlor Social.
For her latest single, Dessy has created a sparsely arranged song — just her multilayered voice and an acoustic guitar, to proclaim the importance of self love in a world in which that is often an anathema.
Dessy tells us, “‘All Love Begins with You’ is a universal message of self love and acceptance. Whomever and whatever you stand for, stand in your truth and your power to your fullest capacity. Step into your greatness. It’s about being positive about yourself. Live in your purpose and Truth and be proud.”
