(October 11, 2020) We’ve been following Michigan-based singer Al Lindsey for a bit now. His passion for classic soul is palpable, and grew from his childhood growing up in the shadow of Motown.
Al released three albums that won him fans in both America and Europe, but changed direction a few years ago, teaming with Saginaw-based J&J2 Productions. The result is a sound that melds his strong vocals with a timeless jam.
Al’s newest single features noted singer Ania Garvey on a gritty ballad single that has more than a touch of classic soul. The two sound fantastic together, harkening back to some of the great soulful duets of the late 60s and early 70s.
