DC-based singer and musician extraordinaire Brother Reggie has become a SoulTracks favorite, particularly for his expressive baritone and his interpretive takes on soul music classics.
Reggie is readying the third installment of his Undercover Brother series of albums, where he puts his own unique spin on classic and “lost” soul songs from the past, and we’ve loved the sneak peeks we’ve received so far. Now, we’re pleased to present another advance look at the album that features both rich vocal harmonies and Reggie’s slick guitar and keyboards work. It is a very Summery new look at a longtime Isley Brothers favorite, “Footsteps In The Dark.” And the talented Brother Reggie plays all of the instruments and provides all of the vocals on the song from his home studio.
