La Shaun phoenix Moore is a Detroit-based vocalist, spoken word artist, activist, event-host and wife. Moore’s work is infused with her love for the city of Detroit, hip-hop, social justice and love of mankind. Moore has been lead or background vocalist in some of the nation’s hottest music venues, and has worked or shared stages with key national and local performers since 1995. These artists include: L’Renee, Black Bottom Collective, Versiz, Monica Blaire, Linda Boston, Gladys Knight, Ledisi, Kem and Anthony Hamilton.
 
As a spoken-word/Slam poet and poetry host, Moore has had the wonderful opportunity to share stages with The Last Poets, Chace Mic Write Morris, Saul Williams, Jamaal May, Aricka Foreman, Dead Prez, Mos Def, The Roots, Khary Kimani Turner, Aurora Harris, The Boogie Man, The Black Poetic Society, Third Eye Open Collective, Black Ink Collective, Invincible, Jessica care Moore and Thomas Sayers Ellis. She coached the 2004 and 2006 Detroit National Poetry Slam Team and was the five year host of the ByteThis Poetry Series. She sat on the Executive Council for Poetry Slam, Incorporated and served as the Event Coordinator of the national poetry slam event, Women of the World Poetry Slam.
 
She lives with her husband and muse, Tony in Sterling Heights, Michigan and is currently promoting her new album ANTHEM produced by InHear Productions.
