June 04, 2023 – Welcome back to Another Groove, our series dedicated to new music that is neither pure soul nor R&B but contains elements of those genres and may please your ears. This week we feature the track “Charismatic” by Hailey Knox.
Knox is a New York-based singer, songwriter and guitarist who released her debut EP in 2016. Her music is a skillful mix of pop, rock and R&B all topped by her soulful vocals. Our featured track finds Knox adding hip-hop phrasing and accents to create a rather sinuous, compelling groove. Enjoy.
