A London-born singer/songwriter, the 22-year old Lipa set the UK music scene ablaze earlier this year with the release of her eponymous debut album which spawned seven hit singles, one of which, New Rules, climbed to #1. While leaning decidedly toward rhythmic pop, Lipa is equally comfortable in the alt-R&B arena and has an elastic, sultry voice that never disappoints.
