Cincinnati R&B man Bigg Robb is a whirling dervish of an artist who appears to always be having a good time. He began as a DJ at the age of 11, and came to the attention of funk legends Bootsy Collins and Roger Troutman. Troutman became a mentor to Bigg Robb, who, as a teen, became Roger’s driver and later a full member of Troutman’s popular band, Zapp.
He’s become a singer, songwriter, producer and arranger who has amassed a huge audience over the years for his fun and funky brand of R&B. And that fun continues on his newest song and music video. “Party N Step” is a song for the Grown & Sexy crowd that should get folks stepping and having a great time. It’s a single from Bigg Robb’s popular album Got My Whiskey Party, a fun blend of funk and blues and a tribute to the late, great Mel Waiters, with whom Bigg Robb recorded and produced for two decades.
