TV One’s “Unsung” goes Hollywood next week with new series – Pam Grier leads off

(February 17, 2014) We’ve been big fans of TV One’s music biography series, “Unsung,” for several years. But next week, the NAACP Image Award-winning series expands in a new direction with the spinoff show, Unsung Hollywood.  The new show will premiere on Wednesday, February 26 at 10 p.m. ET, and will focus on the biographies of film and television stars.

Early subjects of Unsung Hollywood will be legendary African American stars ranging from Pam Grier to Dick Gregory to Flip Wilson, with the show promising to “shine a spotlight on subjects and stories that have rarely or never been told.”

Here’s a preview along with the initial schedule for Unsung Hollywood. What do you think?
