Good news! Our absolutely favorite entertainment show, TV One’s music biography series Unsung, is coming back for more this Summer. SoulTrackers have helped make Unsung the flagship show for TV One and have been avidly watching every episode of the series. We recently finished the most recent season with final episodes on Whodini and David Ruffin (the most popular episode we’ve ever shown).
Now TV One has announced that it has renewed Unsung and that we’ll see eight new episodes this Summer, eight more in the Fall and 16 more next year. New episodes beginning in June will cover such great artists as Angela Bofill (as we reported in January), Gerald Levert, Kool Moe Dee, the Marvelettes, Arrested Development, Sly Stone and ConFunkShun.
