(March 30, 2020) Back in 2007, we held our first live SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Awards, and one of the highlights was the performance by the incredible Rahsaan Patterson, a star who had won over millions of fans, but also the reverence of his peers. Rahsaan not only won an award for his Wine and Spirits album, he completely won over the audience present that night.
Last year Rahsaan broke an eight year recording absence with Heroes & Gods, an incredible album that not only was a big hit, it won Rahsaan yet another SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Award.
Now Rahsaan has a new single from the album that is rising up the soul charts. He has taken the classic Luther Vandross jam, “Don’t You Know That,” and put his own shimmery feel on it. We just love what he’s done and we think you will too.
