The Good Girls reunite for L.A. show

(October 24, 2018) Nearly 30 years ago The Good Girls came out of nowhere to hit the top 10 with back-to-back hits “Your Sweetness” and “Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart.” Hailing from Los Angeles, The Motown trio, consisting of Shireen Crutchfield, Joyce Tolbert, and DeMonica Santiago, was seen by many as the heir to classic Motown acts like The Supremes, The Vandellas, and The Marvalettes.

Bearing a New Jack-influenced sound, The Good Girls had quite a moment, including touring as the opening act for then superstars New Kids On The Block. The trio never quite hit that height again after 1990, but continued to chart for a few more years with moderate hits “I Need Your Love” and “It Must Be Love,” before splitting up.

The Good Girls are back together and recently performed a reunion show in Los Angeles. Check out the clip below. They are also planning to do more shows together, so we expect that we’ll be hearing more from them to come.
