An excellent article by Stacy Brown in the Sentinel reveals that former Temptations member Damon Harris, is gravely ill with prostate cancer. Harris, the falsetto voice of the Temptations in the early to mid-70s, has battled cancer since the 90s but has fought bravely. He has been involved in several cancer charities and has continued to perform with his own group, singing Temptations song.
Earlier this year, Harris recorded the song “You Are My Woman,” which is available at CD Baby. However, for the last few months Harris has spent an increasing amount of time in the hospital, even though he is unsure how he will pay for the care.
