Chestnut Brothers sing to “Stop the Violence”

The Chestnut Brothers"Stop The Violence" (Evolution Remix) is the blazing new single by The Chestnut Brothers.   Their passion for social change has always been clearly reflected in the music they have been actively promoting with their world peace agenda and this third incarnation of their theme song is a masterpiece. Produced by Leroy Romans, the groove percolates with an island flavor that is fresh and innovative. Featuring Nisha (granddaughter of reggae icon Bob Marley) and D-Tek, a rapper with a conscious flow, creates a Philly/Miami/Jamaica connection that is quite infectious.

The Chestnut Brothers will also be cross promoting two additional projects in tandem with the release.  Rasta, A Soul’s Journey, is a documentary Nisha is filming about Rastafari, exploring the spiritual legacy of her grandparents, Rita & Bob Marley. The Struggle For Change is an international, community based initiative conceived by acclaimed sculptor/inspirational speaker, Donald Brown. The brothers are honored to support both of these meaningful endeavors and have provided website links below for review.
