Time Magazine and rapup.com report this week that Brandy and Monica, the two teen stars who dueted for the smash hit “The Boy Is Mine” in 1998, are getting back together in a Florida studio to record another duet. The two women, who have continued their careers in stop-start fashion since their first pairing, are both preparing new albums, with Monica’s New Life planned for the Spring.
This made us think all over again about the original hit, which still makes us smile 14 years later…
