Blank on Blank: Rare Ray Charles interview on “Singing True”

What if you could be a fly on the wall? Discover conversations where remarkable people talk about things few ever get to hear: a lost interview with Muhammad Ali; James Brown on Respect, Conviction and Reagan; Ellen DeGeneres on Her Start in New Orleans; Jim Morrison on Why Fat is Beautiful; Tim Gunn on His FBI Agent Father.

A few months ago, we introduced Blank on Blank, a nonprofit digital studio with a simple mission: curate journalists’ unheard interviews and transform them into the new animated series on YouTube–plus a podcast and segments for public and satellite radio heard by thousands each week. Since launching in late March, the episodes of the series have been viewed by hundreds of thousands of people. You can see them here: youtube.com/blankonblank.

Here is the Blank on Blank take on a long lost Ray Charles interview from 1987 on “singing true.” It’s a great, unvarnished interview. What do you think?
