Hey SoulTrackers! Our reader polls have become some of the most popular features on SoulTracks, and we have another one for you here that’s sure to spur some conversation. Soul music has always had great solo singers, but a lot of soul heads have been all about groups.
So here’s your chance to nominate your favorites! From vocal acts like the Temptations and the O’Jays to self-contained bands like the Isley Brothers and Earth Wind & Fire, groups have made some of the most glorious soul, funk, disco and R&B music. In the next week or so be posting a list of the Best Soul Groups from which SoulTrackers can choose, but we want you to help us come up with that list.
