From the 1974 LP The Dells vs The Dramatics (NOT on a regular Dells album~!), written by Jackie Avery of the forgotten band “Melting Pot”, this Don Davis production is as sensitive, basic and plaintive a wish we have all felt at one time or another: “I Wish That It Was Me You Loved”
