(December 20, 2019) We admit that until this week we hadn’t heard of The Sensational Barnes Brothers, and it was our loss. These siblings, Chris and Courtney Barnes, bring old time Gospel forward and a way that should excite both traditionalists and lovers of more contemporary soulful sounds.
Not only do the brothers’ voices blend immaculately, but their song selection and production straddle the line between Soul and Gospel in a way that is sending us to the moon and back.
Recently, The Barnes Brothers performed at the Crosstown Theater in Memphis, and they simply brought down the house. We’re lucky to have seen it, and we’re even happier to be able to present it to SoulTrackers with our newest World Premiere!
