October 28, 2019 — Every so often, an artist delivers a live performance that well exceeds what she captured in a song’s studio recording. Such is the case here with Mahalia’s live acoustic performance earlier this year for a Dutch audience of her single “Do Not Disturb.”
She’s in exceptionally fine voice and adds interesting fills and other textures to the track. (I also have it on good authority that this song has been on the personal playlist of our publisher, Chris Rizik, almost all year, so one would imagine you can’t go wrong giving it a listen!). Enjoy.
