It’s been a few years since we heard Billy Ocean (we last reviewed 2009’s Because I Love You). But the 80s music star, who had such hits as “Suddenly,” “Caribbean Queen” and “Get Out of My Dreams (Get Into My Car”) is preparing for the US release of his new album, Here You Are, and dropped by Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show to perform a medley of his biggest hits, with the Roots backing him up.
The performance was fantastic, and Billy showed he hasn’t lost a thing. We’ll be looking forward to reviewing Here You Are when it arrives, and in the meantime we’re going to enjoy this performance a few times.
