(March 29, 2013) The great Nina Simone would have turned 80 in February, but her music is timeless. And on March 25, four brilliant singers, Abby Dobson, YahZarah St. James, Sofia Nicole and Lisala Beatty, paid tribute to Ms. Simone in a show at MIST in Harlem. The results were stunning, as evidenced by this week’s Live Performance of the Week, as these four women perform Nina’s song “Four Women.”
