First Look: Terrill has found “The One” on cool new single

terrillpic

(February 17, 2023) Baton Rouge-bred Terrill has been steadily building a following as a solo artist over the last year with mellow and soulful entries such as “Summertime” and “Colors of Love.” Collaborating with venerable songwriter-producer Preston Glass and up-and-coming Christian Belnavis, the steadily working independent singer-songwriter is now sharing the latest single from her debut album, Feels Like This, simply titled “The One.”

Flowing with a contemplative, acoustic arrangement, “The One” showcases Terrill’s softly shining alto tones amidst lush verses and a memorable refrain. While the lyrics cover familiar territory, they’re phrased in a cleverly conversational context that adds to the feel-good nature of the tune. The quiet joy and contentment is brought to life sweetly with a brightly peaceful music video which showcases the artist’s natural performance style and appealing visual aesthetics.
