First Listen: R Kelly joins Whitney Houston on “I Look To You”

Whitney Houston‘s sad death at age 48 in February put to an end the life of one of the iconic performers of our time.  Whitney’s final studio album was 2009’s I Look To You, a fine comeback album by the legendary singer and an appropriate coda to her seminal career.

Arista Records is preparing a new collection of Whitney’s biggest hits, and included in the upcoming disc is a reimagination of her song “I Look To You,” now represented as a duet with the song’s writer, R. Kelly. It is a gentle take on a beautiful song, and we think you’ll like it.
