(December 14, 2019) Usher’s 2004 album Confessions was THE album of that year, and catapulted his already impressive career into the stratosphere. His recordings since then have been hit or miss, but folks are getting extremely excited about his upcoming new album Confessions II, slated for an early 2020 release.
For his newest single, Usher teams with up-and-coming singer Ella Mae for a midtempo number that recalls all that made Confessions great, and brings if forward to 2019. Great melody, hot production courtesy of Jermaine Dupri, and two artists who simply sound fantastic together. And some tasty samples from both Hi Five and The Jacksons.
