(April 23, 2025) Tyra Levone has a word or advice for anyone who is standing on the sideline and wondering if they should pursue their dreams and ambitions. Go for it. Levone was responding to a question posed by podcaster Mel Albin who asked her what advice she would give if she could talk to herself at the start of her musical journey.
Levone said that she would give herself the same advice that she would give anyone. “I would tell anyone in any walk of life that if there is anything you want to do – your passions, desires, things in your heart – jump,” she told Albin.
Levone has taken her advice and crafted a musical career that has resulted in multiple albums, all while embarking on a career that allows her to pay the bills. Levone’s new single, the sensual ballad “Water” is a sweet fusion of art and commerce that will help her keep the lights on and the water running.
The song addresses the natural, flowing intimacy that takes place when two people connect on a spiritual, emotional and physical level. When that happens, the relationship becomes organic, life giving and sustaining just like that liquid that allows all things to grow, survive and thrive.
Levone is an artist who masters the skill of knowing what to show the listener, as well as understanding what needs to be left to the imagination. She describes the space in her mind and heart that is filled by her man and how he makes her feel when they are together. Anyone who has been taken there by someone can fill in the blanks.
