For her newest single, “I Am More than A Conqueror,” Tonya gives another inspiring message to her listeners. “I went through a season in my life where I just wanted to give up. I was tired of working so hard, in the church, at home, at work. I felt unappreciated and devalued. Many of the people in my life were just taking and no one saw that I was in need. I had a lot of emotional issues going on inside my mind. I wrote this song 20 years ago for my college choir and one day, in the midst of this emotional rollercoaster, this song came back to me. I sang this song in my head for a year until I said ‘I have to record this song, someone needs to hear this.’ This song was my reminder not to give up. I had to tell myself I Am More Than A Conqueror.”
