(November 2, 2021) Tank has been a famous soul loverman for two decades. And he delivers one of the most enjoyable music videos of the year by poking fun at that image on the new vid for “I Deserve.”
The song is a nice background for the movie, but the focus is on two pretentiously confident videographers who claim that their mission is to bring Tank to “the R&B legend you used to be.” What proceeds is a hilarious video that features increasingly outrageous scenes, while Tank battles wind, water and heat.
Kudos to this longtime R&B star for having and providing this much fun using music video tropes as fodder. Enjoy!
