Timothy L Shider (T.L. Shider) is an engineer, musician, arranger and producer who has been doing his thing in the music industry for over twenty years. He has worked with artists such as his older brother, the late Garry (StarChild) Shider of Parliment Funkadelic, Alicia Keys, Amy Winehouse, Tamia, Gerald Levert and more. In those years he learned from some of the best, including Ronald Bell (Kool and the Gang) and George Clinton.
So it is only fitting after all that time that T.L. would come out of the shadows and issue his debut project, Betcha Never Thought. It’s an album full of tasty jams, and none better than the first single, “Toe 2 Toe.” It is mellow party song reminiscent of classic Marvin Gaye music. Steppers are going to love this jam!
