Stephen Kee could be an actual poster child for the “It’s Never to Late” life poster. It has been 46 years since he first shared the stage, at age eleven, with gospel legends Edwin Hawkins and James Cleveland. Along the way there was Ramsey Lewis, Kim Waters, the late Nell Carter, and others. Somewhere along the way he loved the life, more than the gift. His musical share is the sum total of that journey.
His debut CD, Insight, features an impressive list of artists from the Atlanta music scene. Additionally, he partners with gospel legend John P. Kee (family first) and Denise Tichenor, on the encouraging song “Find Your Way”.
While Kee will tell you each song on the project serves to remind us that we are endowed to be the best of ourselves; it is the song “Greatness” featuring Terri Kee (family first) that he holds dearest to his heart.
As Kee shares “We all come in contact with greatness…not to be confused with celebrity, fortune, and fame…but that thing that dwells on the inside of everyone. So Be Great…Yeah Man”.
