Enter “I’m a Lover,” a song marinated in slick Ne-Yo vibes and old school ‘90’s urban contemporary romance. The spacious galactic synths and Stee’s heartfelt pleas prevail on this intricate slow jam. And you can feel the earnestness inside his dreamy sale’s pitch: “I’m a lover ‘til the end/I’ll take my time, jus’ gonna make you mine.”
“My goal was to make a smooth and sexy song about that chase,” he explains. “Not only that, but make the end goal something deeper than getting physical.”
