First Listen: Deni Hines pays homage to Motown on great “What About Love”

(November 22, 2016) ARIA Award winning singer/songwriter Deni Hines will release her brand new studio album The Soul Sessions worldwide on November 18. The Soul Sessions is a glimpse into some of the artists who influenced and shaped Deni’s musical palette.The album features her interpretations of songs from luminaries including King Curtis, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, Jill Scott, Aretha Franklin, and Whitney Houston among others. The album also includes the original songs co-­written by Deni.

The album’s first single, “What About Love,” a modern homage to the Motown sound, and was produced by Eddie Said of Kings X Music. With its steady beat and the organ up front, it is an irresistible introduction for SoulTrackers to this talented singer.
